The silk for this gossamer hat was up-cycled from a very intricately beaded silk blouse. SO vibrant with fabulous detail, this hat reminds me of my garden right now (August)! Heaps of colorful perennials providing pollen and nectar to honeybees, hummingbirds and various other flying insects. I will often sit quietly and watch the action around my garden beds, witnessing the little ecosystem and marveling in its beauty. That feeling, that "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh", is what this hat does to me. Capture summer and take that feeling of calm and warmth with you into your winter and fall seasons with this gorgeous gossamer hat. -
