Description
This hat is handmade felt. The silk material is fused with raw merino wool in a process of wet felting called nuno felting. Once the fabric/felt hood is created, it is stiffened and blocked over an open crown block so that the top of the hat can be hand-shaped. The brim is wired and covered with a grosgrain band and is trimmed with a simple grosgrain headband and bow.
