This hat is handmade felt. The silk fabric is fused with raw merino wool in a process of wet felting called nuno felting. Once the fabric/felt hood is created, it is blocked over a vintage heated block and shaped by hand. This cloche is perfect for keeping the weather off your hair while covering your ears in cold weather. There is plenty of room in the hat to house your hair and the “sweetheart” cutout allows for room to wear prescription or sunglasses. There is no pressure on the head when wearing this fabulous hat. Sensible, sweet and colorful, it will go with many different winter looks, and keep you dry and glamourous.
