I have had this beaded silk material for years. Sometimes I let silks sit a year or two until I realize the amazing hat I want to make with them. Recently while thrift shopping I picked up a black and navy floral scarf that I intended to offer to my niece for her hat. On closer inspection I realized that it was a perfect match for the beaded flower silk, and I scooped it up for myself!
