Growing up I was blessed to be surrounded with strong, intelligent and kind women. My grandmother Katherine took time to nurture my interests, teach me things, and experience the world alongside me. Kind, silly and fun to be around as a young child, she was a grandmother who told stories like they’re secrets meant only for you. There are pictures of her in the 1930’s in her long felt coats walking on the high street in England arm in arm with a friend. She isn’t rich, but she’s refined and every detail of her outfit is chosen with care. She understood accessories and in a time when women were expected to dress modestly and blend in, she chose to stand out, not with extravagance, but with intention.
Katherine dresses not to match — but to lead. This hat isn’t an accessory. It’s a signature.
