“Everything but the Kitchen Sink” was what I told my mom ten years ago when I first developed this design. I think we had started a whopping six hats already that day, and this was the last round!!! So, with a glass of white wine, I could no longer think, so put ALL KINDS of silks together in one hat. Mismatched, mis-textured…and…it worked! It created a line I’ve been making since then I call the kitchen sink. All colors and patterns and textures. What ends up in the end is a hat you can wear with pretty much anything. Most hats feature a great mix of colors. The KS pattern also tends to make the hat more casual, or wearable.
This deep cloche style is a fantastic “first” Trish Raine hat. It can roll into your purse, and pulls down over your ears, so that if the wind/rain/fog/snow tries to get you, you can fight back in style!!!
