The beauty of the cloche is a simple sophistication found in a well-crafted silhouette. Iconic as a hat from the 1920’s it was worn low over the eyebrows making women walk with their chins up and eyes cast down. This resultant stance only added to the allure of the look, as women felt it created an air of confidence and independence in the wearer.
This is a modern take on the classic cloche. Leopard print felt with a vintage velvet band and bow, hand-cut and shaped flowers in silk and leather on both sides of the hat. The silk used to make the hat is fused to the leather to create the flowers.
